❗️🚨 BREAKING: Researchers used Mythos Preview to find the first public macOS kernel memory corruption exploit on Apple's M5 silicon, they give a glimpse into Mythos say it’s really powerful.
Apple spent five years and an estimated several billion dollars building Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE), the hardware-assisted memory safety system built around ARM's MTE. It was the flagship security feature of the M5 and A19, designed specifically to kill the entire memory corruption bug class.
Researchers from Calif built a working exploit in five days.
According to Apple's own research, MIE disrupts every public exploit chain against modern iOS, including the recently leaked Coruna and Darksword kits. Calif walked into Apple Park this week and handed over the report in person.

They are a horrible company. You should not only kick them out of @DeptofWar, but also out of the USA.
Better yet, send them to Europe! Imagine the look on their faces the first time they have to fight a tethered bottle cap just to get a drink of water.
Picture it. A cramped apartment with no air conditioning, a 250 sq ft "spacious studio" that costs a fortune, and a paycheck cut in half the second it lands because of taxes. Europoor life.
No free refills. No ice in the drink. A tiny espresso instead of a proper 32oz coffee. Asking for the check and waiting 45 minutes while the waiter enjoys his mandatory break.
And the regulations. A cookie banner on every website, a USB-C cable they're legally required to use, and a consent form for every breath they take.
That'll teach them not to mess around with the US government! 🇺🇸
We'd be more than happy to make the arrangements. We'll get Anthropic to Europe as soon as possible. 🇪🇺

🚨 UPDATE: 8 people charged in Sex Ring “Underground Bunker” for Paying adults to Rape their Children and Pets — Ages 3-16. Trial delayed as mom pleads guilty and flips on co-defendants
In Bibb County, Alabama, eight suspects ran a sex trafficking ring out of an underground bunker where children as young as 3 were drugged, bound, and raped with adults paying to abuse them.
Animals were also targeted.
Rebecca Brewer and mother of some of the victims, pleaded guilty to sexual torture and nine counts of first-degree kidnapping. As part of the deal she agreed to testify against the other seven defendants.
The trial for the remaining suspects has been delayed while the case expands, including a federal investigation into at least one of them.
These monsters turned their own kids and pets into victims for profit.
How long will it take for every last one of them to face real justice?

This is awesome. These fellas build drones they fly into tornadoes for science.
They're part of the OTUS Project, a self-funded effort founded by students in meteorology and engineering. They build custom UAVs and sensor systems to study tornadoes inside and out.
The goal is to protect lives and property. The wind and thermodynamic data they collect feeds into predictive models, sharpens hazard forecasting, and helps make structures more resilient.

Our preliminary analysis shows this ain't Nintendo being breached, but they've had access to a Nintendo USA tenant on TINYpulse by WebMD, which is an employee feedback and engagement software solution.
The data includes some sensitive stuff, like employees giving feedback on their employer. The data confirms: Nintendo employees are happy at work.
End of story, everybody loves a happy ending.
