It has been observed that the banned Public Action Committee is sending out messages to create fear, telling people not to leave or go back, and threatening that anyone who tries will be arrested, injured, or killed — these are baseless, misleading and entirely false propaganda. Security forces successfully repelled an attack by a group of BLA terrorists on a military post in the Panjgur sector on 14 June 2026. Alert troops immediately responded to the assault, while quick reaction forces from nearby positions moved in to reinforce the defenders. Following a fierce exchange of fire, the attackers were forced to retreat from the area. During the operation, three terrorists were liquidated and several others were reportedly wounded.
