Hydra Voting for the Cardano 2026 Budget Process facilitated by Intersect is now complete.
More than 5 billion ₳ of voting power participated, around 85% of all active DRep stake.
That's over 100 DReps giving their votes to Cardano, with participation levels exceeding the 2025 budget cycle.
Thank you to everyone who submitted proposals, asked questions, provided feedback, voted, and helped strengthen the process.

The Mainnet Plutus Cost Model update has been ratified on June 13, 2026 at 21:45 UTC.
Enactment: June 18, 2026 at 21:4 UTC
REMINDER for DApps and developers to test their setups on Preview/Preprod ahead of Mainnet enactment to ensure that they aren't negatively impacted by any cost model changes.
While the newly introduced primitives do not take effect until after the hard fork, existing cost models will be updated at the enactment of the parameter update action on June 18.

van Rossem hard fork (VRHF)
As part of VRHF coordindation, Intersect has undertaken the responsibility of hosting forks of key ecosystem tooling, Ogmios and Kupo, in order to allow the hard fork and testing to progress on the PreProd testnet.
An interim measure to allow the original repository maintainer the time to review and update the original code, while allowing testing progress to resume in the meantime.
Another example of an unowned process that Intersect has been able to assist with.
