It states over 26,500 cubic yards of concrete were poured, equating to about 7,500 truckloads, which is taller than Mt. Everest. Over 800 tons of reinforced steel were used, equivalent to the weight of 400 adult elephants. Over 2 million feet of rebar is likened to the distance of running 14 marathons. The project covers 860,000 square feet, akin to 15 football fields. There's a concrete truck, a concrete mountain resembling Mt. Everest, a line of elephants, and a track field with mileage markers.

The ancient alligator gar is making a comeback in the Mississippi River floodplains. Through our partnership with @NFWFnews, we are helping restore the river’s natural connections, creating healthier habitats for this iconic species and many others. Since 2019, we’ve supported grants to the Lower Mississippi River Conservation Committee that are reopening historic floodplains, improving water quality, and reducing downstream flood risks. The resurgence of the alligator gar is a sign of success and a symbol of what’s possible when we invest in nature-based solutions.
