It’s just proof how much reputation matters more than anything. Current Brazil is not good. The defense is not good. Midfield is average. Attack is slightly above average when you consider Vinicius’ international form.

I just think Portugal is too good. I think midfield wins you games.
Portugal have the undisputed best attacking midfielder in the world.
To complement that, Portugal have 2 Ballon D’or competing midfielders, also the best in the world, filling in the 6/8 positions
And then great attacking fullbacks can mask the mediocrity of the Front 3.
