Everyone's talking about
@PeterObi . The frugality. The discipline. The fact that he says he doesn't own a house in Abuja. The degrees from Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge. The fiscal reforms in Anambra. People love the story of him.
But here's the real question, are you actually learning anything from him, or are you just enjoying the spectacle?
Peter Obi models something very specific: self-leadership before public leadership. Fiscal discipline, transparency, a refusal to personalize public resources those aren't political strategies. Those are personal disciplines that showed up in his governance because they already existed in his private life.
That's the point most people miss. They admire the output but ignore the input.
The man lives what he preaches. The question is do you?
Who are you when no one is watching? Who are you when there's no platform, no movement, no crowd?
That's where self-leadership begins.
Lead yourself first.
