ALT The following criteria are used to determine if an AMBER Alert should be issued:
1) Law enforcement confirms a child has been abducted and entered into the IOWA/NCIC Systems.
2) The child is under 18
3) Law enforcement confirms circumstances indicate the child is in danger of serious bodily harm or death.
4) Law enforcement has enough descriptive information about the child, abductor, and/or vehicle to engage the public.
