At an alternative school, we often fight the stigma that our students aren't STEM students. This grant proved otherwise. Watching a student who previously struggled in school meticulously calibrate a pH meter to save their crop is exactly why we do this.
Students in Muscatine are turning data into action, using data science to tackle real questions in their community and presenting solutions that could leave a lasting impact beyond their school walls as they “Reinvent Muscatine”.
