Real cool seeing Ukraine honor Iowa’s own Josh Schamberger.
The Ukrainian National team have made multiple visits to Iowa to participate in camps with both the Iowa Women and Team USA
This week, IWWC Board President Josh Schamberger was hosted by the Ukrainian Wrestling Federation.
A Connection began in 2022 at UWW Women’s World Cup in Coralville, IA and has blossomed in the years since.

Slipped past my radar in the midst of state soccer, but Gracie Figueroa will be sticking around with the IWWC
She has been recovering from a knee injury, but clearly a good amount of faith here on Figueroa’s ability. She and Macey Kilty are a nice foundation for the club.
IWWC is proud to announce the re-signing of Gracie Figueroa as she continues her pursuit of World and Olympic success.

One of the most decorated prep wrestlers in US history - Figueroa is nearing a return to competition.

She’s a five-time age level team member including a Cadet/U17 World bronze.

Gonzalez struck for a pair of double-leg takedowns after some early hand fighting, running a bar following the latter to end the match in style.

Kilty defeated a pair of 3x SR World teamers via dec. - w/ her only loss in a WILD semi against 3x World/Olympic medalist Grace Bulen (NOR).
