🇳🇬 From Assessment to Action 🇺🇳 UNICRI recently held the second #AIPOL Leadership Dialogue Workshop in Abuja with the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG. ⚙️ Focused on turning the findings of the Responsible AI Organizational Readiness Assessment into action, the workshop explored priority readiness gaps, roadmap development for responsible adoption of AI, and approaches to responsible AI innovation in law enforcement. 🧭 The workshop concluded with a strategic dialogue with Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, and his management team on navigating the opportunities and challenges of AI. 📌 The discussions marked an important step towards translating assessment findings into concrete priorities and practical measures for the responsible integration of AI into policing. The workshop forms part of the 🇪🇺 EU-funded AI-POL initiative, implemented by UNICRI in partnership with @INTERPOL_IC and the @EU_Commission. The initiative is being implemented in: 🇧🇷 Brazil | 🇮🇳 India | 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan | 🇳🇬 Nigeria | 🇴🇲 Oman
