In any conflict, a President owes the American people a clear objective. Right now, voters see higher prices and no direction. When the focus is on arches and ballrooms instead of what families are paying at the grocery store, they don't feel like anyone is focused on them.

Food prices are up, gas prices are skyrocketing, and consumer confidence is the lowest ever recorded. Americans are hurting, but all Trump and Republicans can think about is how to get $1 billion in taxpayer money for Trump's ballroom. It's truly absurd.

After yesterday’s Supreme Court hearing on the Trump Administration’s push to roll back the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of birthright citizenship, it’s clear their argument has no legs to stand on. Our nation’s diversity is our actual birthright, allowing us to reinvent our country with every passing generation and bringing us closer to the image of a more perfect union. It’s what makes us unique throughout the world, and it’s why the Court must reject this abhorrent argument.

Funny how the guy who wants to rig the midterms by destroying voting by mail (and isn’t paying TSA agents to get his way) actually voted by mail multiple times, including in today’s Florida special election.

Democrats introduced bills to end the TSA shutdown on: March 5 March 11 March 12 March 18 March 19 (x2) March 21 March 23 Republicans blocked TSA funding every single time.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
