Important message below from the IGA
Your newly elected IGA Chair here with a few words to say. This past week (13th – 19th) was Trans Awareness Week and Trans Day of Remembrance is here, November 20th. I think it’s obvious to say that we are seeing an increase in intolerance and hate in the world.

Colm is a game designer and a writer.
Colm is also the director of MOGI - the Museum of Games Ireland, in Killarney, which is dedicated to archiving and recording the modern tabletop hobby.

Mothú is a one day festival dedicated to celebrating Irish larp and will take place on Saturday July 12th, 2025 at the Teacher’s Club, 36 Parnell Square West, Dublin.
Come join us for a day of parlour larps, and potentially some talks.

Unlike a typical Irish gaming convention, players sign up for their larps in advance. After the schedule goes live, there will be a few weeks for first round ticket sales.

It was a pleasure to be back in Galway and to see Itzacon continuing its rally back from hiatus. There were some amazing games run over the weekend from a clearly passionate committee, and there wasn't a moment that the main hall didn't have people playing boardgames.
