The most noticeable thing from the MS is how my mind has to route around things.
It feels like missing floors & empty shelves. A memory window greyed out into nothingness.
Cut off threads that might never reconnect.
Almost like long term concussions in some ways.
The heat sensitivity baffles me.
The mechanics of it is just weird.
More so than my previous troll brain tendencies.
Cold = faster processing (to a certain point).
But why does heat ramp up pain, drain energy & cause brain fog simultaneously?
I should probably read some science papers about it, but I'm distrusting of it, since the papers on autism I've looked at recently, have been so bad at asking people with the condition how they experience it.
The projections annoy me.
So, on top of the "applying to get denied" I got the 40 hour a week activity demand to keep living...
Plus the sudden reorganising of the home aiders.
This with the heat triggered pain spike is a bit much.
I'd work if I had 40 hours to put in.
Obviously.
I'm probably exempt from the demand, but it's still added stress, anxiety & worry, sucking energy I can't afford to lose.
Great safety net we've got, really fantastic way to organise society. /s
Correct. But it's a mouthful to say or type its full legal name every time so we say America instead of The United States of Undefeated Back to Back World War Champions America, dumbass.
My antipathy towards the ball obsessed didn't decrease when I got a ball kicked into my back, hard enough to sublux ribs.
If you are dribbling in public I expect you to mess up & hurt others by default.
Because you focus on your ball...
I refuse to learn that football rule. I fill my head with nonsense whenever people try to teach me.
My current "offside rule" is that half the players have to switch socks from one foot to the other, if there's a goal attempt.
I really, really dislike football.
"It has side effects!"
Scary...
So does my antihistamines.
It's always a balance between effect & side effects.
You popping ibuprofen or acetaminophen could wreck your kidneys, liver or stomach lining.
Most of the time the medicines are worth the risks.

"The Histamine Bucket Theory:
Rather than seeing symptoms as isolated or random, the bucket analogy helps us recognise that multiple small exposures, each seemingly manageable on their own, can add up over time."
I find it very helpful for managing my histamine triggers.
But the persistent itch became persistent pain, that raised the baseline load.
Rarely get a full on attack now that I control what comes into the home.
No more nut traces in the couch or kitchen.
More people should know about the extinct Salish Wool Dog en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salish…
Northern breeds, with a thick undercoat, give the best fibre.
Like alpaca it's not as elastic but it has better insulation properties than sheep's wool. (which ofc varies a lot: merino - shetland).
