Check out this Afro-Brazilian style mosque in the West African country of #Benin. The Grande Mosquee du Porto-Novo was built from 1912-1925 back when Benin was part of a French colony called Dahomey.

The Bajrakli Mosque is the only remaining and active example of Islamic religious architecture in Belgrade, #Serbia. The mosque's architecture is rather modest compared to other Ottoman examples, with very little interior ornamentation and colour.

The Küçük Hasan Pasha Mosque in Crete, #Greece is absolutely next level. 😮 Boasting beautiful seaside views nestled among unequivocally European architecture, this mosque represents the Ottoman conquest of Chania in 1645 CE.

You'll find this humble little timber mosque in the village of Bohoniki, located in the Podlaskie region in northeastern #Poland. The village has a population of just 100! This mosque was likely built in 1873 CE.
