UAB Blazers head coach Andy Kennedy may have quietly landed one of the more intriguing under-the-radar high school additions with 6’4” 2026 guard Korie Corbett, a player with real long-term upside. Corbett has shown he can score off the dribble, operate comfortably in the mid-range, and finish at the rim, while also bringing value on the defensive end with his activity and effort. After his senior year at Oak Hill Academy, playing at a high level against top players across the country, his ability to create his own shot and make sound decisions with the ball should translate well at the next level, especially within Kennedy’s system, which leans on guards to create, read the floor, and produce in space. Jonathan “JJ” Watts, a 2027 6'7" wing from Riviera Prep, brought energy and physicality on both ends of the floor at HoopFeast. He ran the floor well in transition, finishing around the rim and using his length to contest shots. Watts attacked the glass, securing rebounds to create extra possessions and second-chance opportunities. Offensively, he moved well without the ball, finding open spots and converting in rhythm. On the defensive end, he stayed active in passing lanes, helped protect the rim, and challenged ball-handlers. Leandro Sola, a 2027 6'9" forward from Central Pointe Christian Academy (FL) , showed a lot of flashes at HoopFeast. He used his size, length, and athleticism to finish around the rim and grab rebounds. Sola looked comfortable attacking the basket, using his frame and coordination to score through contact and battle inside. He also showed he can step out and knock down shots beyond the paint. On defense, he embraced physicality, contesting shots and holding his ground against bigger opponents. On the boards, he cleaned up missed shots and secured rebounds on both ends, helping his team control possessions. His finishing, rebounding, and defensive toughness made him one of the more impactful frontcourt players at the event. @cpcambb @IssaBucketPro @hoop_feast

2027 6'8" SF Tristan Pasch, Parrish Community (FL), put together a strong showing at the event, displaying his scoring touch and overall versatility. He finished with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 steals in the win over Westminster Academy, setting the tone early and maintaining impact throughout. Pasch knocked down shots from multiple spots on the floor and looked comfortable getting into his jumper, even with contests. He played through contact well and showed a steady, confident scoring approach. He finished around the rim with control and consistently found his spots within the flow of the offense. His ability to read defenders helped him stay efficient and in rhythm from start to finish. Pasch was just as important on the glass. He rebounded in traffic, fought for position, and kept possessions alive with second-chance efforts. Defensively, he stayed active, jumped into plays, and used his length to generate turnovers and disrupt actions. With his blend of size, shooting ability, off-ball movement, and consistent effort, Pasch was one of the most impactful players over the two days—affecting the game in multiple ways and showing why he will trend upward in his class.
