I’m not here to defend the industry or excuse any behaviour. I’m here to point out reality. Games are the hardest digital products to build and the one that takes the most time. A real AA game takes ~4 years with 50 to 150 people and $10M to $50M. AAA goes 5 to 7 years, 300 to 1000 developers, $50M to $300M . A proper game requires, ux/ui, game design, 3D, animations, engineering, economy, sounds, vfxs… It's the whole digital product stack in one. You're not just building a website: marketplace, perps, dex, predictions market… that can be updated on the fly in minutes and you just need ux/ui design and engineering. Fortnite started around 2011 and only found its breakout moment in 2017. That is ~6 years of development and iteration before it became a global hit, followed by constant live ops with a massive team. Roblox launched in 2006 and has been compounding ever since. Nearly two decades of building tech, community, and creator economy before reaching its current scale. Now layer crypto on top. New tech, most on beta, new behavior, unclear rules, noise everywhere, insane hacks. Development slows down while expectations speed up. Our game @MixMobRacer1 was one of the first games to be approved in the app stores. It took us 3-4 months of rejections and KYC before they approved it as a crypto game. Crypto as we know it today, doesn't have the patience or foundation to foster good games. Capital and support came in fast and disappeared just as fast. The market followed money and attention. During bull cycles, weak or fake products with hyped narratives look strong. When capital dries up, only products with real engagement remain. 93% “dead” is not surprising. Most Web3 games didn’t even make it to year 2. Most of these projects never had the time, capital, or execution required to become real games. Cycles like this shake out what wasn’t built to last and leave the people who keep building. We’ve been building @MixMobRacer1 through all the cycles. Still here, actual fun game, with actual players and value.
LATEST: ⚡ Roughly 93% of Web3 gaming projects are now "effectively dead," according to Caladan, with token values down 95% from 2022 peaks and studio funding collapsing 93% by 2025.

If you ever forget who you truly are and why you are here, take a few deep breaths and be present. It will all make sense. This is one of the most powerful life hacks I can offer you. I've used this trick throughout my whole life. Your breath is your wisest teacher. It's free, it has infinite love for you, and it is also available 24/7 within you.

Going into round 3 of Holloway vs Olivera, Paramount decides to go black. Hopefully it's not going to be a recuring issue with live UFC events.

Look at the map. 338,000 red dots. Unique IP addresses trading, distributing, and sharing child sexual abuse material… children under 12. Do you notice the blue dots? Probably not. Those are the actual investigations. Law enforcement needs more resources, more support… a bigger rescue team. This is a fight of good vs. evil, and we are losing.

I just broke down the updated X Paid Promotion rules in simple terms. Affiliates. Referrals. Bounties. What counts, what requires disclosure and where crypto is actually restricted. If you’re posting anything tied to compensation, read this first. Don’t risk your account over confusion!

Solana NFT communities are no longer what they used to be… In the Love Meta, over time, we’ve been stabilizing and expanding a new mindset for our community. We believe we’re transitioning from hype and empty roadmap promises, the reality of the first cycle, where only the strongest communities survived, into a new cycle where authenticity and human-centric values are what keep NFT communities alive. In Web3, where expectations are often built purely around price, this mindset shift isn’t easy. But we believe NFTs serve a higher purpose. That’s why our transformation has been focused on three pillars: Short Term → Long Term Love Meta is always aligned with a long-term perspective. Our communication doesn’t focus on hyping new features, apps, or pumping NFTs. Instead, we’re building foundations to support and elevate people’s journeys, using our strengths: the Love Meta message and valuing people. Day after day, these foundations are being recognized across the space as our IP. Empty Message → Valuable Message Since day one, Love Meta has focused on sharing a message that can positively impact people’s lives, both in Web3 and Web2. The idea is simple: remind people that love is the source, so they can bring out the best in themselves and in the connections they build. This message is embedded in our Namaste NFTs and visually communicated through our Sensei NFTs (pandas), encouraging people to spread love daily, inside and outside the ecosystem. Price Centric → Human Centric Love Meta’s main focus is people and supporting each individual journey. We understand that everyone is at a different stage in life, so we aim to create a safe space, especially on Discord, where people can share struggles, express emotions, and celebrate achievements together. Recently, we’ve been improving our onboarding on both X and Discord to help new holders connect faster with that safe space. We believe these three pillars create a community that allows individuals to grow independently across all areas of life, and naturally inspire those around them to do the same. We’re always looking to improve, so let me know: what do you value most when joining a new NFT community? 👇

"Effective immediately I am calling on @elonmusk to institute the Department of Orgrimmar Gaming Efficiency (DOGE)."
I've read the comments and many people are saying this - and these are TREMENDOUS people, the best gamers, incredible gamers, people with Gladiator titles, people with WORLD FIRSTS - that @Asmongold will do a video on this and it will be HUGE. Absolutely MASSIVE. Bigger than anything Blizzard has done in YEARS. Bigger than the Corrupted Blood incident, and frankly, more contagious. Sad! I've been saying it for a long time in the boardroom, folks. A LONG TIME. Longer than the queue times on Illidan. The RADICAL EXECUTIVES at Activision-Blizzard - I call it the Irvine Swamp - they want to turn Warcraft into a WEDDING SIMULATOR. WEDDINGS! In a game called WARcraft! These people are SICK. They are running Azeroth like Goldshire Inn on a roleplay server and frankly it's DISGUSTING. They took the WAR out of Warcraft and replaced it with FOCUS GROUPS who DON'T EVEN PLAY THE GAME. These focus groups have NEVER stepped foot in a raid. Never wiped on Kael'thas. Never heard a raid leader scream MORE DOTS. They couldn't find Mankrik's wife with a STRATEGY GUIDE. Total disaster. Total wipe. 50 DKP MINUS. The REAL heroes are the players. Twenty year veterans. INCREDIBLE people. People who leveled to 60 on DIAL UP. People who did attunement chains UPHILL BOTH WAYS through Blackrock Mountain. They built this franchise with their BLOOD, their GOLD - which they farmed LEGITIMATELY, not bought from some website, believe me - they sacrificed their health, sacrificed their relationships, their raid leader yelled at them for FOUR HOURS about THREAT MANAGEMENT and they came back THE NEXT DAY. Truly INSPIRATION. The best of AZEROTH. They turned Azeroth into something BEAUTIFUL, absolutely INCREDIBLE. These players have more /played time than Blizzard's executives have TIME IN THE OFFICE. And what does Blizzard do? Calls them DELUSIONAL. The GDKP community - TREMENDOUS players, very misunderstood - DELUSIONAL. They told Classic players "You think you do, but you don't." WRONG. They asked "Don't you guys have phones?" We DO have phones. We use them to CANCEL OUR SUBSCRIPTIONS. They monitor their FEEDBACK. "We're listening." They've been listening for 22 YEARS, folks. That's not listening. That's an AFK bot in Alterac Valley and everyone KNOWS IT. Ignores them for 22 YEARS then wants a THANK YOU for player housing. I built a garrison in Warlords of Draenor that had MORE CONTENT than their entire housing system and it only took me SIX MONTHS to hate it. These players deserve a MEDAL not a cash shop. They deserve LEGENDARY DROPS not LEGENDARY PRICES. $25 for a mount. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS. I remember when you had to do a FORTY MAN RAID to get a mount. You had to EARN IT. Now you swipe a credit card like you're buying GROCERIES. Except groceries are CHEAPER. When I'm in charge of Azeroth, we're going to bring back the RAIDS, bring back the ORCS, bring back the GRIT. Forty man raids. MANDATORY. No LFR. You want to see Arthas? You EARN Arthas. We're going to make ATTUNEMENT CHAINS so long they'll need their OWN QUEST LOG. No more Disney nonsense. We're bringing back THRALL. Real Thrall. Not therapy Thrall. GREEN JESUS was fine the way he was before they made him SOFT. No more $25 cash shop mounts while HARDWORKING subscribers get NOTHING. Every subscriber gets a SWIFT SPECTRAL TIGER on day one. I don't care what it costs. Put it on Microsoft's tab. Satya has $68.7 BILLION. He can afford it. Move money from Copilot, which is a TOTAL DISASTER. Azeroth belongs to THE PLAYERS, not the boardroom. Not the focus groups. Not the TAM spreadsheets. Nobody even knows what TAM means. I asked a Shaman in trade chat and he said "Totally Awful Management." SMART guy. Best players. The BEST. The Horde loves me. TREMENDOUS support from the Horde. Zug zug. The Alliance loves me. Even the Night Elves and honestly they don't love ANYONE since Teldrassil. Very sad what happened there. I would have stopped it. I would have put out the fire PERSONALLY. It would have never happened. EVERYONE loves me. Even the Pandas - tremendous people, very underrated, incredible brewmasters. Nobody respects the Pandaren more than me. We're going to build a WALL around the ActiBlizz Executives' bad ideas and make THEM pay for it. A wall so big it makes the Greymane Wall look like a FENCE. We're going to drain the Irvine Swamp. We're going to audit the cash shop. Every mount. Every pet. Every transmog. If it's not EARNED it's getting DELETED. And we're going to do something NO Blizzard executive has done in twenty years. Effective immediately I am calling on @elonmusk to institute the Department of Orgrimmar Gaming Efficiency (DOGE). Very important. Elon is a GAMER, folks. Tremendous gamer. Probably has more /played than most of you. He'll deny it. It's TRUE. DOGE is going to go into Blizzard headquarters and AUDIT EVERYTHING. Every developer. Every designer. Every guy whose job title is "Senior Vice President of Player Sentiment Analytics." You know what that job is? READING REDDIT. We're going to find out how many employees it takes to ignore a forum post and I GUARANTEE it's more than it takes to run a 40-man raid. We're going to READ THE FORUMS! Lastly we're going to MAKE AZEROTH GREAT AGAIN!!!

I am a senior vice president at a $68.7 billion gaming company. Activision-Blizzard. We have a 30-year-old franchise. Warcraft. Millions of players. A subscription model that prints $15 a month per user. A cash shop on top of the subscription. Paid expansions on top of the cash shop. Our former creative director just told the press he wishes we hadn't called it "Warcraft." He said the name sounds intimidating. He helped create the name. We ran focus groups. The focus groups said the brand needed to be "more approachable." We asked the focus groups if they played the game. They did not. We took their advice anyway. Our VP told an interviewer we want players to experience "weddings, raids, and new adventures." She listed weddings first. Before raids. In a game called Warcraft. Nobody in the room flinched. She also said "No one thinks the same about Warhammer." She compared our franchise unfavorably to a competitor. On the record. As a defense of the franchise. The forums are on fire. Twenty-year veterans are writing goodbye posts. One thread is titled "Think I'm done with WoW." Another calls our pre-patch a "player purge." We called our GDKP raiders "delusional." We timed a cash shop bundle to launch during the Trading Post anniversary -- the one event where players earn free cosmetics. We offered 200 discounted items but kept the monthly currency cap at 1,000. The math doesn't work unless you open your wallet. The community noticed. We described their concerns as "feedback we're monitoring." We are always monitoring. We have never once changed course because of monitoring. The players say we're "Disneyfying" the game. Turning gritty into cute. War into weddings. Orcs into mascots. They're not wrong. The data says approachable properties have wider TAM. Total addressable market. That's the metric now. Not "subscribers who love the game." Not "community that built this franchise." TAM. TAM doesn't post on forums. TAM doesn't write goodbye letters. TAM doesn't have 20 years of muscle memory and lore knowledge and raid nights that turned into real friendships. TAM is a number in a slide deck that makes a board feel comfortable. We added player housing. Players have asked for it since 2004. We launched it in 2026. Twenty-two years. We described this as "listening to our community." We are very good at listening. Eventually. When the feature aligns with a monetization roadmap. Here is what I know and cannot say in a meeting: The name was never the problem. The name built this. The name survived server crashes and subscription drops and an activision merger and a harassment scandal and a $68.7 billion acquisition. The name is "Warcraft" and for 30 years nobody was confused about what it meant. The problem is not that new players find the name intimidating. The problem is that old players are starting to find us unrecognizable. And we don't have a focus group for that.

Three ways to accept crypto payments: 1. QR codes (in-person). 2. Payment links (remote). 3. Cart checkout (itemized). All with zero payment fees. All settling instantly. Here's how each works 🧵
The way we pay is changing. The way businesses get paid should too. Instant stablecoin payments, right at checkout. No middlemen. No delays. Just money, moving the way it's supposed to.
