BREAKING: Elon Musk has become the world's first trillionaire.
After SpaceX raised a record $75 billion in its IPO, Musk’s net worth shot up to top $1.1 trillion when the stock began trading Friday, putting him in an economic class of his own.
Combined with his holdings in electric vehicle maker Tesla, as well as other investments and assets, Musk's net worth is now estimated at about $1.1 trillion.
Musk's stake in the rocket and satellite company alone is now estimated at a staggering $690 billion, but it's also a life-changing moment for thousands of workers at the company who hold equity.
Investors who watched Musk help turn Tesla into an automotive giant are now betting he can do the same in space and artificial intelligence, as SpaceX launches the largest IPO in history.

Polkadot OpenGov is voting on a major change to the network’s staking architecture.
Referendum 1890 proposes that validators on Polkadot are required to lock a minimum of 10,000 DOT of their own funds as self-stake.
This reform is a mandatory prerequisite for the next major staking upgrade:
• Nominators becoming unslashable
• Fast unbonding (~24-48h instead of ~28 days)
The logic is simple:
Validators absorb the slashing risk directly through significant self-bond exposure.
Nominators can continue earning staking rewards without exposing their principal to slashing.
If enacted, Polkadot staking would remove its two largest barriers to participation:
Lower risk. Faster exits.

For the first time in history, China's largest data centers are joining electricity spot trading as “virtual power plants.”
These facilities now adjust AI computing loads in real-time based on spot market price forecasts.
That means AI compute can be ramped up when electricity is cheap, and slowed down when it's expensive.
The AI race is may no longer just be a tech story.
It is becoming an energy trading story too.
