Feels real now bags packed trying to decide what I need straight away versus what I can come back for and bring at a later date. Hoping this turns out to be the right move for me 🤞 not stressing about it just hoping it all falls into place nicely

Back home but clearly still in Canadian time it’s 4am Irish time but it’s 12 Canadian only going to bed now feels very wrong

Got so used to driving myself to and from the airport all the time but today I haven’t so it’s a 3 hour bus journey which always has me feeling sick worrying about how it’ll go I’m an awful passenger

Running late means my suitcase is now stuck in Canada while I fly home it’ll have to be posted back to me at a later time 😂 everything went so smoothly on the trip till now

Canadians give pedestrians right of way all the time it’s so strange because in Ireland you’ll get rundown if you try and cross the road even a pedestrian crossing I’ve been struggling so much with this

Last day in Canada today 🥺 fly home tonight it’s been such a fun time actually getting to fully switch off. The stress will hit so bad once I get home hate change but it’s time for changes

Didn’t think I’d be as emotionally but when I landed last night and reunited I cried doesn’t feel real 7 years planning this trip can’t wait to see the life my friend has built here and meet all the people I hear about

Been told today that I sound French, German and American 🤷‍♀️ I’ve corrected them every time I’m Irish but clearly I pick up on other peoples accents too much it changes mine 🫣

Our dogs 16 years old she’s getting so forgetful, can’t see well, can’t hear well and defiantly doesn’t remember me since I’m not home as often it’s so sad seeing how different she is now 🥺
