Thought Dynamite generally did a very good job tonight of selling Forbidden Door. Kenny and ZSJ had an excellent face off. Thekla and Starlight Kid having some true heat attached to it is appreciated, it’s something the Forbidden Door concept has missed. The main event kicked a whole lot of ass. And the Swerve/Will seg was spellbinding. Had a good time with this show tonight. Thought the Swerve/Ospreay segment was a home run. Comfortably one of AEW’s best segments of 2026. It’s probably the best outing Will has had on the mic since his return. He was passionate, real and human. For a large portion of that seg, he didn’t feel beholden to anyone. And that was very much appreciated. But other top stars essentially painting Will as gullible is an objectively bad look. What’s also bad optics is Mox being Will’s personal therapist to help him “control himself.” Will Ospreay shouldn’t have to look like an undisciplined teenager out there. And the parts of the segment where Will was emphatically himself, and speaking from the soul about how much the Owen final means to him really underlined how lamely he has been presented over the past several weeks and months. #AEWDynamite

I really wish classic 2010’s boom era Nooj matches didn’t have Kevin Kelly screeching in my ears.

This is a very reliable upper midcarder. I wholeheartedly believe that the men’s division would improve twofold if Dawkins and Tez both became singles stars. They both have the sauce.

He is the blueprint for what not to do when cutting a promo. Wrestling schools worldwide will thank him.

Nothing on RAW or Smackdown feels urgent, or like it has any stakes. You can always sort of rely on a handful of RAW talent to show up. This is why the action is decent. But creatively, everything feels derivative, and repetitive. We’ve seen the Bloodline saga. We’ve seen it implode. The teasing of tension this time has minimal effect because of that.

Dude, the creative bones of this show are just exceptionally boring and lame. I get nothing out of a large portion of the main angles these days. There are only a handful of regularly booked wrestlers that I actually enjoy watching.

This is the second Bloodline centered segment tonight. The creative bones of RAW feel very muted. Like a car going 15mph down the highway.

I’m not an LA Knight guy, but damn man I feel bad for him. He is in a perpetual state of creative floundering. Nothing he does or has done on the main roster has had any spark.

The best thing about that angle was how Shane Helms rushed to get out of the way of Jacob. Veteran level wrestling mind.

I think it’s hilarious that creative is so beyond lost that instead of going through the minimal effort of throwing together a half baked heel stable to anchor creative around, they just said “Screw it, nobody will notice. Run that Samoan thing back.”
