#SaveEurope. Thank God for @X. Mocht je nog niet getekend hebben: save-europe-act.com
The @SaveEuropeAct is in essence an initiative to protect the rights of the Native peoples of Europe. Our rights often remain unrecognized, and have been disregarded and violated by replacement migration and its disastrous consequences. We demand change. The ethnocultural continuity of our peoples is crucial for Europe’s preservation. This is our home and we are not willing to lose it. Here is the Act. Sign it now at save-europe-act.com

Tesla, Grok & SpaceX will be a sovereign nation and dominate AI in 5 to 10 years. Probably as the first single Ultra-Corporation with its own Moonbase and sovereign territories, possibly Texas on Earth. It will become the first corporation born nation in the solar system. Sure, people won't like that and may will doubt it.. but I think it's possible if not likely. πŸš€ When SpaceX announced the Anthropic deal, signing over basically all of Colossus compute, many of us , myself included, thought Grok was taking a backseat to Frontier Models. The narrative wrote itself. SpaceX was pivoting. xAI was conceding. The compute wars had a winner. But... this is Elon Musk. And Elon never thinks small. Look at Terafab. Look at his Moon plans. Look at his Mars plan. This is a man who builds reusable rockets, electric vehicles, brain interfaces, satellite internet, and AI models, IN PARALLEL. Not as side projects. As industries he reinvents from first principles. There is lots of hate on Elon. Endless hate. But the truth? It's envy. More than anything else, it's envy. No single human alive can claim to have impacted technological progress on a global scale , the complete disruption and (re)invention of multiple industries simultaneously , like Elon has. Not Jobs. Not Gates. Not Bezos. So maybe... just maybe... he's going to do BOTH. Build frontier AI AND become the leading global Hyperscaler. Because that's what Elon does. He doesn't pick lanes. He builds the highway. How big do you think Terafab actually gets? πŸš€ Aragorn Meulendijks | Innovation Network
Grok foundation model V9-Medium (1.5T) has finished training. Evals look good. A lot of Cursor data was added in supplementary training and there is more to come. Fine-tuning is underway and reinforcement learning begins in a few days. 2 to 3 weeks to public release. This will be a major improvement over the 0.5T v8-small that currently serves all Grok production traffic, especially for difficult coding tasks.

Here's a Prediction. @Meta will lose their advantage in AR and VR for 3 reasons: The main reason is simple: 1. Their ridiculous attempts at being the Next iOS/MacOS closed ecosystem and their absolute LACK Of attention for interoperability and ease of access. I've owned many VR headsets over the last decade and the No.1 frustration has been LOGIN. For any device to become part of your habits, it needs to be EASY to use and EASY to access and it should easily connect with your eco-system. To this very day I put on my Meta Quest headset only to put it off again 10 min later because whatever I want to do requires me to login to something, email, google drive, my local desktop over LAN... and it's an FFIN TERRIBLE experience. No voice input, no transcription, no QR codes, no nothing. nothing, nothing, nothing has been done to make it easy, convient or intuitive. 2. AI VR... You would have thought that making AI integration a priority would make so much sense. Everyone wants a VR headset they can talk to, that can play games with them, make them feel like Tony Stark in Iron man.... but nope. Meta has both, but refuses to make an effort to make it accessible and integrate it properly. They've had 2 years now.. and still nothing. Apparantly it's available in the US, but considering how little content there is on it, it can't be very good... Seeing Meta squander every opportunity because they half-ass the consumer experience on every turn is just sad.

For years I've said it. Gaming can and does make many of us smarter.
68 college students played video games an hour a day for 30 weeks. They got measurably smarter. EEG brain scans confirmed it. The setup was simple. Half the group played League of Legends, an action game. The other half played Legends of the Three Kingdoms, a strategy card game. Same hours, same schedule, no gaming experience for anyone going in. Both groups improved on attention, working memory, and executive function. The League group's gains were significantly larger in spatial attention and spatial working memory. The benefits were still measurable 10 weeks after the gaming stopped. None of this is new. Daphne Bavelier's lab at the University of Geneva has been replicating this finding since the early 2000s. Her 2018 meta-analysis in Psychological Bulletin pulled data from 8,970 participants across 15 years and found the same thing. Action games train attentional control, a brain skill that transfers to other tasks. Strategy games train deliberation, which mostly stays inside the strategy game. The mechanism is the counterintuitive part. Action games train your brain by giving you no time to think. The brain can't deliberate. League of Legends throws 9 champions, hundreds of minions, dozens of abilities, mana, cooldowns, and map state at you, all updating in milliseconds. The brain learns to perceive faster instead. That perceptual speed transfers to anything else that demands the same skill. Including surgery. The 2007 Rosser study in Archives of Surgery found that laparoscopic surgeons who played video games more than 3 hours a week made 37% fewer errors, completed procedures 27% faster, and scored 42% higher on overall performance. The top third of gamers made 47% fewer errors. Laparoscopic surgery is a 2D screen with distorted depth perception, remote-controlled instruments, and multiple data streams updating in real time. The cognitive profile is almost identical to an action video game. The 10-week persistence is the part that should change how this gets discussed. If the gains were just from practicing the game, they would have disappeared the moment the students stopped playing. They didn't. The 30 weeks rewired the perceptual system, and the rewiring stayed.

But I'm crazy for thinking this is crazy........ Yep....
Imagine paying Β£10,000 a year to send your children to Oxford University and this is their lecturer. Not even joking. This is an actual lecturer at Oxford University in "Modern England".

Random but true: In 10 years or less we will marvel at how a billion women actively poisoned themselves with Cosmetics and Nail polish and then proceeded to blame the Patriarchy for all the consequences, while men actually preferred them to look more natural.

NEWS: Dutch regulators (RDW), which just approved @Tesla FSD (Supervised) in the Netherlands, have just issued an official statement: "Due to the continuous strict monitoring of the driver in the vehicle, the system is safer than other driver assistance systems. We have thoroughly researched and checked this system, more than a year and a half. The RDW has issued a type approval for Tesla's driver's assistance system, FSD Supervised. This driver's assistance system has been extensively researched and tested on our test track and on public roads for more than a half years. Safety is paramount for the RDW. The proper use of this driver's system makes a positive contribution to road safety." This approval from the RDW clears the path for approval in other European countries. Tesla owners in the Netherlands will be receiving FSD (Supervised) on their cars shortly. Amazing day!

someone at ANTHROPIC just showed CLAUDE finding ZERO DAY vulnerabilities in a live conference demo claude has found zero day in Ghost, 50,000 stars on github, never had a critical security vulnerability in its entire, history... it found the blind SQL injection in 90 minutes, stole the admin api key, then did the exact, same thing to the linux kernel

He called it 11 years ago.
Holy sh*t. Stop what you’re doing. Give yourself 3 minutes. Listen to this. Marco Rubio 2015. He called it. He called it word for word, like a play-by-play.
