My first year of Pokemon has concluded and though a bittersweet ending, the people I’ve met and experiences I’ve had this year have changed my life for the better! If you asked me what my goal was at the start of this season it would’ve been to make a single phase 2.

I could actually go on all day tagging the people who made this experience what it was, but thank you to everyone who welcomed me into this community.
Next year I will be playing at worlds, it’s time to lock in.

Joltik Box, a fast and exciting turbo deck with surprisingly complex lines. Our friend Paul (@ItsPacaPaul) piloted this to a t32 bubble at his first regional in Pittsburgh and it’s been a favorite ever since. Sideboard has MU insurance and more aggro gust / crispin / dmg output.

Put in work this weekend for 110th at Indianapolis! Tough to tie my win and in to 64, but super proud of what I’ve been able to do in my first season!

Just lost my win and in to Day 2 of The Grand Champions Festival... unlucky!!! Crazy to be 5-2 in my first ever VGC event though. My team was super fun to play but it definitely needs work, now back to TCG so we can lock in and hopefully qualify for worlds!

I still have to lock in and finish out the end of this TCG season strong, but does anyone have resources they like to learn VGC?
Been having fun with Champions and kind of want to take a bit of a deeper dive.
