Although FWA was great, I didn’t have a good time. Friday morning I got the worst phone call someone could get at 6am😞 My best friend had suddenly passed, his wife called me at that time seeking help. Right there and then I had what I could describe as the worst panic attack I had ever experienced. We had hung out the day before FWA and he wanted to hear all about the event, even though he wasn’t part of the fandom. He was like the big brother I never had; a friend that not only mentored me but also guided me and my own sibling. He had won the trust and love of my own family and friends that were unrelated to him. My friend Crisitan was only 33. His birthday was next week and we had planned to celebrate when i got back from this trip. Ive already flown back home for the funeral but i cant stop thinking about how fragile life is and how everything can change in a moment. Thank you to all my mutuals who noticed I was off before I said anything and offered help. Thank you Orfa for sitting with me while I had such bad news delivered and helping me during my panic attacks. Thank you Vince and Danny for taking me out and help me distract myself.
