I have encountered CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, etc. during my career and what most have in common is asking good questions and being proactive. In 2020, the U.S. and its economy was shut down. There was no plan developed to address or mitigate effects of shutting down the country/economy. Most leaders would be proactive and develop several scenarios. Instead, like running a mom and pop business the leader of the free world shut it down and waited to see what happens. We got high inflation because of supply chain issues, which became noticeable in May of 2020 not 2021. High demand for goods, low supply of goods. Cars, food, gas, etc..Next administration came in with no transition documentation.
