Good financial products don't just move money, They help users feel in control of it!
Creating a budget is only half the journey.
Users also need visibility into what's happening with their money.
These screens help users:
- View their balance
- Hide sensitive amounts
- Track active flows
- See upcoming payouts
- Pause or end a flow
One feature I focused on was the release schedule.
Instead of wondering when money becomes available, users get a clear timeline showing:
✅ Next payout
🔒 Locked funds
📅 Future release dates
The goal was to make budgeting feel predictable, not stressful.
Part 2 of designing Future 👇
Future helps salary earners avoid spending all their money at once.
This flow introduces one of the app's core features: Flows.
A Flow lets users:
📌 Choose what they're budgeting for
💰 Lock an amount of money
📅 Decide how often they'll receive it
🏦 Connect an account for payouts
Instead of giving users unrestricted access to their entire budget, Future releases funds gradually over time.
The goal is simple:
Help people stay within budget without constantly tracking every expense.
Sometimes, better money management starts with better money distribution.
