A Burnley man’s been jailed for life for murdering mum of two Katie Kenyon from #Padiham
51-year-old Andrew Burfield from Todmorden Road will serve a minimum of 32 years in prison.
He killed the 33-year-old in April before burying her body in a grave in the Forest of Bowland.

A group of police officers have started searching an area close to the car park in Gisburn Forest. At times a drone from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service is flying overhead too.
Searches continue today for Katie Kenyon who hasn’t been seen since Friday. Police have arrested a man on suspicion of her murder. Missing posters have been put up in Sawley, less than 20 minutes from Gisburn Forest where the search teams are based.
