In adults with methamphetamine use disorder, mirtazapine reduced methamphetamine use by approximately two more days per month vs placebo, with no unexpected safety concerns. ja.ma/4onwh3I
RCT on Mirtazapine for Methamphetamine Use Disorder. 344 participants (213M, 126F) from 6 Australian clinics. Mirtazapine reduced methamphetamine use by 7.0 days, placebo by 4.8 days. Mirtazapine showed a significantly greater reduction of 2.2 days (P=.02).
