When Jimmy Carter purchased the teachers’ union’s endorsement in 1979 by establishing the Department of Education, the USA was #1 in education. 46 years and $4.1 trillion dollars later, the USA is #40. We are, however, #1 in cost per student.

Gotta be honest, this @ufc event at the White House looks spectacular. This is a big time show. I’m not there, and we all know all the complaints folks had about renovations at and around the White House, etc, but — to be fair — this is some impressive stuff I’m looking at. Props to UFC President @danawhite and the show they’ve put on. It’s Bigtime. Plain and simple!!!

Yes I am an outsider. Yes I am a disrupter in Congress. Yes I operate outside “normal procedure” because it’s obvious the normal procedure is BROKEN. And to be honest, I hope I can inspire others to follow suit. We need more fighters in Congress, not more sheep to fall in line with the status quo. Thanks @WSJ.

No, it’s not “Pride Month.” Not for me, and not for millions of others. You’re welcome to be proud of whatever you want, in any month you like—because this is America. But what started in 1969 as a rebellion against persecution, morphed into a license for public depravity, and then morphed again into a weapon aimed at families and innocent children. Along the way it went from a day, to a week, and then a month and became official, and thereby effectively mandatory for all. Enough! If you’re gay and wondering why you are facing resistance now, the answer is that, with few exceptions, most of you didn’t stand up against the expansion and weaponization of “pride,” and the coercion that went with it. In that failure to resist, the gay community compromised any expectation that the rest of us should support “pride” at all, but especially the obscene display of hostility toward civilization and the families of which it is built, and for whom it exists. If your hackles are raised by the idea that civilization is about families, realize that families are how civilizations persist through time. Not everyone needs to form one, but we all must respect and protect them—It is the foundation of what it means to be civilized. For the small fraction of gays and lesbians who DID courageously stand up and resist expansion, coercion and the weaponization of “Pride,” I stand with you, and I have all along. But I won’t be celebrating, and I won’t be silent. It’s not too late to join the voices of reason and to confront the insanity of what “pride” has become.

I think possibly the best thing about Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire is how angry it makes a bunch of losers who've never built a thing in their lives.

Elon Musk employs ~ 160,000 people in his companies, with a total payroll of ~ $25 Billion. Many employees (eg engineering, tech) also get substantial RSUs/stock options. His own compensation is almost entirely performance-based equity. He parks much of his personal fortune in financial institutions that provides the capital to give mortgages to the people for houses and loans for cars. This is how capitalism works. The lazy, greedy Marxists who envy his success would destroy all of this.

Re: Karmelo Anthony and his defenders: Obviously there is some blind black tribal loyalty involved, but I think there’s something else and arguably worse. The facts seem to be this: Karmelo invaded another track team’s tent. He did this to assert dominance. When asked to leave, he issued threats: “touch me and see what happens.” After repeatedly telling him that he was not welcome, and in response to provocation, Austin Metcalf pushed him, trying to get him to comply with basic social norms. Karmelo, no doubt delighted that he had now received permission for escalation under his own code, stabbed Austin to death. The black defenders of Karmelo believe this is how society should operate: an endless war of all against all to assert dominance, escalating when one’s assertions are rebuffed. They’re mad that the justice system got involved, because in their minds this is the proper way to conduct business: omnipresent dominance signaling, inevitably leading to violence. They genuinely don’t understand that other people don’t operate according to those rules. And they certainly don’t understand that our rules, by drastically reducing friction and needless cost, are the very reason for the disparities in group power they complain about. We are polite internally and can thus exert greater collective power externally. A few Karmelos in the mix destroys this system. But they don’t care that running things their way would be the end of civilization, the end of their cell phones and EBT and air conditioning, because they don’t understand it. They don’t understand anything about the modern world. They are lost here, confused. This state of affairs is not sustainable.

“but when you bring in people from antithetical cultures and you tell them upon arrival they don’t have to acculturate, integrate or assimilate but they have grudges against their hosts because they feel that they are victimized and you lavish social entitlements upon them and you make them exempt from any consequences of their illiberal behavior, then you get what we’ve seen there.”
Victor Davis Hanson just dropped the single most definitive explanation for the chaos in Belfast and cities across the West. In two minutes flat, he exposed how DEI, open borders and failure to assimilate have created a powder keg that’s now exploding. HANSON: “It’s a reminder that DEI or racial chauvinism, ethnic chauvinism combined with open borders and mass immigration from illiberal societies is a recipe for disaster.” “And nobody condones the counter-riots but when you bring in people from antithetical cultures and you tell them upon arrival they don’t have to acculturate, integrate or assimilate but they have grudges against their hosts because they feel that they are victimized and you lavish social entitlements upon them and you make them exempt from any consequences of their illiberal behavior, then you get what we’ve seen there.” “We’ve got to remember, both in the United States and in Europe, especially the U.K., we’re 60 years, three generations from the civil rights acts and their versions of them.” “So we’ve got three generations of people in their 40s 50s and 60s that grew up with reverse discrimination and they didn’t know anything about segregation or institutionalized racism.” “All they know is that their job opportunities were curtailed because there was this new idea of equality of result.” “Where people based on their skin color or ethnic origins or whether they were migrants or something, they had preferential treatment and yet they were paying for the sins of prior generations.” “That’s what they felt.” “And then finally there was a class element to it.” “The elites crafted this system to bring in constituents dependent on state largesse but they were never subject to the consequences of our own terrible ideology because they had the money and the zip codes and the resources to protect themselves from that kind of violence that we saw.” “They made it worse by insulting the White working class as if they are illiberal and neanderthal, when they created the conditions and they were immune from them and now they don’t know what to do because they realize it’s blowing up in their face.” “Both there and in the United States.”

As a Japanese watching the UK right now, I have one simple question. A Sudanese asylum seeker just tried to behead a local man in Belfast. The victim lost an eye. This comes after years of grooming gangs raping thousands of British girls — gangs that police and councils deliberately ignored because they were afraid of being called racist. In Japan, even one case like this would have triggered national outrage and immediate policy reversal. But in Britain, the conversation is still about “not being far-right.” British people, at what point does protecting your own children become more important than protecting your reputation? We genuinely do not understand this.

Last year, the SPLC added TPUSA to their so-called "hate map," placing us alongside neo-Nazi organizations and the Ku Klux Klan. The day before Charlie was murdered, they published a newsletter attacking him and Turning Point USA. Today, they doubled down and stood by that designation. They have to, because it's their real mission. As we now know thanks to the Trump DOJ, the SPLC itself funds violent extremist groups to stoke fear among the public, so they can stick organizations like Turning Point USA on their "hate map" and tar us by association. Turning Point USA has, from the beginning, stood for open conversations and respectful debate regardless of creed or color. All along, the real hate group is the SPLC, which recklessly sows hate every day with its lies.
