A day much like today in Vancouver, but one in the early 1960s. By 1965, a building boom would have commenced in the vicinity!
"Vancouver, B.C., Canada", a Natural Color Productions Ltd. card (no. S-970) which looks modern (as a card) but also prehistoric (as an image of Vancouver). As the text on the card notes, "the City annually hosts thousands of visitors from all over the world, who arrive in ships like the 'Canberra' (seen in the Inlet)." S.S. Canberra was an English-registered P&O liner and cruise ship from 1961-97 (other than a short stint as a troop ship in the Falklands War).
