JBIC is moving home!
(Or rather, moving flats in the same house)
From now on, article submissions will be within the in-house manuscript management system SNAPP. Articles under review remain in the old system.
Looking forward to your feedback on SNAPP - hope you like it!

Cu, Zn, Pt, proteins, DNA & RNA - here’s your weekend read: Issue 5 of JBIC is just out!
link.springer.com/journal/77…
Plus, the Commentary by @thecopperdoctor that we already tweeted about is leading off the Issue. Enjoy science and the weekend!
Karrera Djoko @thecopperdoctor has just published a fine Commentary on the host-microbe interaction for nutrient metal availability (beneficial, not as in drugs!). Interesting take on an important topic!

This is the first in a series of Commentaries in our Journal on Emerging Directions in Bioinorganic Chemistry. Watch out for more content in this direction! Talks were also presented at the recent #ICBIC20. Thanks Karrera @thecopperdoctor for contributing!
And remember to read (and cite!) Tim’s recent account of their work here in JBIC: rdcu.be/dhGOe
There is also a great video explaining their work in person: youtube.com/watch?v=pOLCiZ3T…
Huge shoutout to @hughharris5 and team for organizing a fantastic #ICBIC20. Many thanks from the @SBICofficial community for hosting us.

Muchas gracias Jorge, for publishing this paper in JBIC! It is great to see the support from the Bioinorganic Community in Spain - more to come on this topic. Stay tuned!
Thanks for publishing this paper with JBIC! It is a little bit unusual, but I am happy to show the diversity of our field by including papers such as this one in JBIC!
Twitter Alert for Issue 3 (2023) of JBIC! Kicking it off with a review on artificial Zn finder proteins, and then lots of enzyme spectroscopy and anticancer compounds, with synergistic catalysis & enzyme inhibition from @SadlerGroup for a home run!
Issue 2 for JBIC is out! Kicking it off is a review on G quadruplex-stabilizing M complexes from @NanoChemBiol, quantum tunneling of K ions in G quadruplexes, FeS clusters and Mößbauer papers, and a study on M(phen) complexes against multi-resistant clinical isolates in Ireland.
