I don’t know who needs to hear this, but gamified stations for B2SN is absolutely the way to go!!! No awkward lulls, the whole family can be involved and engaged, takes the pressure/spotlight off of you, and is a fun way to make connections with families. Give it a shot!

Wow! Came home to all of these fantastic books mailed to me by friends! Almost enough for an entire class set! These will be put into good hands as we learn to get into Good Trouble and carry on the inspiring legacy of John Lewis. This book is still on sale for $2.65 as a hardcover and the March Trilogy is on sale for $33 on Amazon for all three books! The most powerful teaching resources I have ever used.

Has anyone used Google Form boss battles in class? My room is HP themed and I was thinking of making monthly-ish boss battle assessments with a baddy from each book (i.e. Quirrell, the Basilisk, etc.) Thoughts?

Tomorrow is my last day as a HS teacher. While I am incredibly grateful my district called me back and offered me a different position, and I look forward to the new adventure ms will bring, my heart is also broken leaving a community I have poured my heart and soul into 💔
