It was clear Saturday how much the Heritage boys basketball team wanted its historic journey to end with a big win. The Coyotes took control early and are now the first @friscoisd boys basketball team to win a state title.

The @LHSRedhawks girls basketball team was already a dynasty before Saturday's game. But knocking off a team that had won 37 straight games to repeat as 5A champions added another exciting chapter to their story.
