Hip sliding during the stride phase can limit the ability to create separation ❌
To fix this, we started with high constraint drills to encourage hip shoulder separation while preventing the hip slide
1️⃣ Feet in cement: Eliminates the hip slide while encouraging the feel of separation
2️⃣ Step back no stride: Adds proper load mechanics while continuing to encourage hip shoulder separation
3️⃣ Step backs: Introduces stride mechanics while maintaining the feel of proper separation from the previous drills
This led to vastly improved ball flight and damage done to the pull side
