He refused to stop and led them on a reckless vehicle pursuit, striking an SUV during the chase. Kenon eventually stopped, grabbed a 4-year-old child, and ran on foot. He later abandoned the crying child while continuing to flee from deputies. Deputies quickly caught up with him and rescued the child, who was shaken but uninjured. Kenon was arrested and charged with child neglect, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and hit-and-run. He is being held without bond on the out-of-county warrant.
