I feel like Rocky’s IQ varies more from movie to movie than any character ever: starts out fucking illiterate, improves to kinda slow, suddenly is razor sharp and ends the Cold War, then suffers dementia before basically becoming Yoda. It’s been quite a cognitive ride for Balboa.
