The symposium is a 1 day event that will take place on July 10th and July 11th, 2024, from 9am to 5pm.

1. Dalan Zartman, who will discuss the challenges facing the fire service associated with large format Lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles and stationary storage.
2. Dirk Fuchs, ESA's Director of Engineering, who will disassemble an EV Lithium-Ion Battery and explain its architecture, the battery management system, and common problems.
3. John Cassidy, New York City Fire Department Lieutenant, who will present on micro mobility Safety and Tactics, focusing on the dangers of these batteries and operational tactics for first responders.
