Exciting day! I’m thrilled to share "The Awakening," the first novella in the "Chronicles of the Veiled Lands." This project, born from my passion for fantasy and storytelling, symbolizes the power of pursuing dreams. šŸ“šāœØ Not a pro writer, just a dreamer who took a leap. If you've ever doubted if you could, this is your sign to start. Thank you for supporting this journey of creation and self-discovery! Tokens, embeddings, fine-tuning, inference, RAG. People drop these like everyone climbed the wall already. For months I just hoped nobody asked me. So the app keeps a growing glossary, each term explained like you'd explain it to a friend. dailydeckai.com/

Almost didn't add a quiz. They feel like school. The version that works: a few questions after your cards, no timer. It only tracks whether you got it right first try. That's the honest signal something stuck. Miss one and it comes back tomorrow. dailydeckai.com/

Job search update an ask. Two lanes: forward-deployed / solutions / AI strategy, or senior creator marketing at an AI-native company. 9 yrs at Twitch (NFL, Olympics creator work). Last 6 months I shipped 30 AI systems directing agents. Who's hiring? itsjustin.me/

I run 23 self-hosted services on 3 servers. Last week I wrote plain-English docs for every single one. Two paragraphs each. The work in operator life isn't building the tools. It's keeping them runnable by a future-you who has forgotten everything.

Reading something once does almost nothing. You forget it in days. I kept proving this to myself. So the app brings old cards back right before you'd forget, then spaces them out as they stick. You don't manage it. You just stop losing what you learned. dailydeckai.com/

My bet for the next 5 years: the agency-of-one wins the bottom half of the agency market. Solo operator with Claude Code can do what a 5-person agency does, charge a quarter, take home more. The math hates the boutique shop. I'm running it in public. Two-year horizon.

The feature that made me actually use the task manager I built isn't in anyone's pitch deck. Natural language. I type "call dentist tomorrow 3pm" and it lands in the right project with the right time. Friction between thinking and capturing is the only metric that matters.

Most "learn AI" apps give everyone the identical lesson. Mine asks what fields you care about, which tools you use, how deep you want to go. Then the cards lean that way. Same 5 min a day, pointed at what's actually useful to you. dailydeckai.com/

My price-comparison side project has a Reddit monitor that finds posts where I can helpfully reply. 19 subs, RSS, Gemini Flash scoring 1-10, drafts the reply in the same call. Costs cents a day. I send the draft as-is about half the time. Build-in-public growth marketing.

A few weeks back I had a conversation that shifted my whole search. I stopped trying to find a job that matches my resume. I started looking for work that needs what I've actually been building. These are different searches. One of them is far more interesting.

My health-tracking app is $1.99/mo. The usual answer in this market is $9.99 minimum. I don't actually believe a privacy-first GLP-1 tracker should cost more than a cup of coffee. Sometimes the right price for a small thing is a small price.

Burned 3 self-hosted SaaS tools last week. Replaced them with a 1,500-line Python module. OpnForm Keila a custom bridge. Each worked. Combined was held together with hope. Combining several almost-right tools costs more than building one right thing once.

Most AI content is written for people already fluent in it. This is for the rest of us. Sharp, busy, a little tired of nodding along in meetings. It never makes you feel dumb for not knowing a term. It just tells you the term. dailydeckai.com/

Every week, hundreds of new businesses register with the California Secretary of State. Most will need a website within 90 days. I'm building a pipeline that finds them before any agency does. Cold outbound is dying. Pre-cold outbound is alive.

I cycled through 4 task managers in 8 months before I built my own. Todoist → Super Productivity → Vikunja → custom Flask app. I'm not better at making task managers than Todoist. I'm better at making the one that fits exactly how my brain works.

What I built, plainly: 7 cards a day about AI. A few definitions, a concept or two from zero, one real tool, one thing that happened this week. Five minutes, no feed pulling you back. Made it because reading everything was breaking my brain. dailydeckai.com/

Shipped a health-tracking app where the server can't read your data. Master password derives two hashes in your browser. One authenticates you. The other encrypts your records. Encryption key never leaves the device. Forgot password = lose the cloud copy. That's the deal.
