Pinned Tweet
I began crafting a really long twitter thread last weekend to highlight some of my favorite photography that has yet to sell out, and began having a hard time keeping it all organized. This pinned tweet will serve as an ongoing labor of love to highlight these works.

I have complicated opinions when it comes to AI and use cases but please don't use it for personal writing unless you're using it to solve language barrier issues or other things like that. It's one of those mediums that allows you to let yourself out, be vulnerable, be creative ... The world still feels in some sort of isolationism stage ever since the pandemic hit, we spend infinite time on various screens, dating is done through apps as a numbers game ... you get what I mean. If you can find something that slows down time and exercises part of your mind you may not otherwise exercise often, it feels pretty important to hold onto that rather than outsource it to a program everyone else is using. Hope everyone is doing well.

Paid money to withdraw all my NG NFTs - 24 hours later, absolutely nothing actually moved. A fitting final memory, I suppose.

It would be irresponsible to not follow up. It did end up working out but it took about 36 hours and not really having any ability to track progress or anything made me wonder if it was going to work or not. But, it did.

The "best" art is subjective. Decided by money and influence, but history will judge things differently. It's easy to get lost in the euphoria of being celebrated, or demoralized by being ignored. Neither are meaningful. This is a blip in a timeline that transcends your life.

I really don't like how there are phrases and mannerisms I'll forever associate with AI now, and question if a person wrote it themselves. "And honestly?" comes to mind immediately.

Self sovereignty is a double edged sword and I think the past 5 years have shown us both sides of the blade We are too fragmented rn. No one can find anything and the Twitter (X is a stupid name) timeline is a mess I know of some possible solutions coming. Keep the faith!
I am sympathetic to artists. There has never been more competition for attention & the method of capturing that attention has never been as fragmented & fickle. artists need create compelling work *and* cultivate, prune & support their own narrative. A nearly impossible task.

Stand By Me if it was an all female cast - slightly hyperbolic since it's 3 AM here, but I love a good coming of age story in whatever manner the story is told

I'm going to spend $100k this year buying cryptoart from artists trying to get established. It'll come out to around 1E per week. It's not nearly enough but hopefully it helps. @musicalnetta, who is way better at this than I am, will be helping me. Here's how it works:

18 months ago. Some unexpected expenses and budget stuff also slowed me down a lot but overall I'd say I still feel the same way I did in Sept. 2024 with regard to new purchases. If I have to worry about constant shuffling of assets or checking for news and notifications, that's a big deterrent when I always felt physical prints looked better to begin with.

I feel like photography as a whole has been elevated in terms of your average person getting better at composition and editing but I can't help but feel as though a loss of personal identity and voice has come along for the ride. Much of it is from social media, I'm certain.

The present and the future are less about “can we do this” and more about “should we do this” Sort of like me and tweeting when 6 people will see it now.

I’m out to lunch right now so all televisions are on mute, but one of them is showing what I assume to be a pop act or boy band type of performance and I can’t help but notice how aggressively mediocre it seems. If your performance needs to have that much distraction from the actual music, your music can’t be that good. There must be 25 people involved in this nonsense. Give me a stripped down and vulnerable performance with real talent over a watered down 4th of July type performance any day of the week. I look at art the same way, for better or worse. The more you try to distract me with things the more I question why you’re doing it.

Happy International Women's Day to all the women out there, especially one very special one to me. I hope that those close to you are celebrating you and giving you the day you all deserve.

I fear this will turn out more like a caricature than someplace I want to be.
The entrance to the North End is in the process of being converted into an Italian-inspired plaza featuring jewelry and clothing stores, a cafĂ©, a Rome-based travel agency, and an Italian fusion rooftop restaurant overlooking the Greenway. ❀

A tough but sometimes useful thought exercise: If you removed all semblance of names and locations and just listed events that were occurring, what would you think about it if you stepped away and examined it later?
