In 1989 Barb Joseph became the first woman to train the winner of the G1 Doncaster & famously led Merimbula Bay to the mounting yard in a striking red suit. Today Barb’s daughter-in-law Di pulled out that dress for the JJR Owners Luncheon to celebrate 50 years as a trainer.
