EU as well, gg lads
Hetzner just 2.5x'd their prices for US servers Crazy but understandable as the AI companies are pushing prices of everything up: RAM, HDDs, SSDs, CPUs, GPUs, and even competing with Hetzner for land to build data centers in US!

Why is everyone surprised about Le Chaton Fat? Most EU builders I know at least know someone with beta access, open secret in Europe for almost two weeks now

Well lads, no 5.6 for a while. OAI will make absolutely sure regulators are chill with it before doing anything.

👀 Is codex finally rebuilding the 50gb of conversation history to archive them and increase performance?

> Make big, new model > It's good > How do we market it? > Tell everyone it's TOO good > We want big IPO > Keep saying too good > What if dummies believe it? > Too. Good. IPO soon > Release neutered version > Still too good > Government believes you > Surprised Pikachu Face

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Everyone: > We're so subsidized Truth: Ya sure are if you count any subagent spawn (they fork the thread) in full Blue checkmark syndrome strikes again

5.5's obsession with explaining product decisions user facing is remarkable. The goblin can have an AGENTS.md rule, be told to not do that and still, somehow, finds ways to fuck it up. Kinda impressive

Everyone talking about loops I've been using the loop of all loops for a few weeks now, can recommend to give agents a TON of structure. Yes, costs tokens, but super worth. Symphony coming along very, very well. Can't imagine letting agents handle long horizon tasks without

Funny stuff, when you have a /goal set and /fork a thread (windows-cli) the parent thread keeps running. I was so confused to suddenly see a fair few PRs show up on github and my Symphony board got progress. /goal makes codex go brr

Claude Fable 5? More like Claude Bankaccountempty in 5
