Before @CuseMLAX played Duke, I asked Gary Gait on @WAERSports about possible ACC expansion. He brought up SMU:
SMU appears to be discussing elevating men’s lacrosse to D1. Seems to be very, very early stages but you can read about it here. Their AD Damon Evans is quoted in the story on3.com/teams/smu-mustangs/n…

After a 12-10 loss to @UNCMensLacrosse at @theACC Championship Friday, @CuseMLAX won't repeat as conference champions.
But Friday's game was far more competitive than SU's April loss to UNC, and the Orange still have their eyes on the prize.
