It still amazes me how people are still ignorant about the basics of this city. LADWP has never been part of the city. It is a self owned entity that only City Council has partial oversight
Newsom, Bass, and Bonta try to stop any accountability but they can’t. I think they should sell LADWP and use that money to compensate the victims. It would be a better run private company.

Their water comes from Los Angeles. The LADWP only serves LA residents through Owen’s valley water and the reservoirs.

You really must be some kind of idiot. Mayor has no authority, LADWP is not part of the city, never has been. One of Mulholland’s demands on accepting the job. The reservoir itself is in need of repair BEFORE cover can be replaced.
Santa Ynez Reservoir in Pacific Palisades is currently empty. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) drained it to replace the large, 10-acre floating cover, and is expected to keep the reservoir out of service until the fall.” Thanks Karen👎🏼

Example of both his inexperience and your ignorance. LADWP is NOT a city agency, while mayor has no authority council has oversight. While he is unqualified to be mayor, your uneducated to vote
- Forensic audits of every city dept.: fund what works, defund what doesn't. No blank checks.
- Full LADWP audit. The corruption is well-documented and nobody has been held accountable.
- Rebuild LAPD staffing. Reject defund politics. Hold leadership to measurable standards.

Both of my Grandfathers were born in Los Angeles, served in WWII, raised families here, and LOVED this city. They both would have voted for you.
