The Island Plan has become a monster that crushes initiative. It chokes the economy, drives inflation and it is a license to employ 100s of civil servants. @serenabob

The Jersey election didn’t go well for @ReformJersey however several of its credible and experienced politicians were re-elected. If they have ambitions to higher office and to be taken seriously they should consider whether a close association with some of the party’s more controversial figures could ultimately hold them back.

I asked this question of @DeputyTadier following on from his @ITVChannelTV interview stating that @ReformJersey were a middle of the road social Democratic Party. I was asking a perfectly legitimate question and did so in a polite way. I got blocked by the Deputy and my question remains unanswered. If someone else manages to get an answer from the Deputy or anyone in their leadership team, please let me know. In the process, I was called an “animal” and a “c*nt” by some of his supporters (they have not been blocked and their responses to me were not condemned). So, when reform talk about being moderate, or condemn others for underhand tactics, think again, for they are nothing of the sort.

Listening to @BBCJersey ’s election coverage. I must remind them that they are legally and operationally required to be neutral. Its public service mandate and editorial guidelines compel it to achieve due impartiality across its output. The blatant left-wing coverage and their slant over voters’ rejection of some Reform Jersey candidates is hard to ignore.
