If everyone working with children and adults with additional needs read and truly embraced this advice, it would profoundly enhance the lives of these communities.

“Children with "limited" SEND needs will be able to move to a mainstream school to help address a lack of specialist places in Worcestershire.” Good luck with that—parents give up your child’s SS for mainstream so they can fail again. “Limited” SEND??! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8rl…

We don’t home educate electively. We do it as a desperate measure to support our children, when everything else has failed and we’ve ran out of options. It’s usually a last resort, to preserve what’s left of their #MentalHealth ( well it was for us!)
Home Education: who’s going to tell the Minister that a large proportion of children with SEND “electively” home educated are nothing of the sort, but are at home as there is no place available to meet their needs, or they’re too traumatised to attend? theyworkforyou.com/wrans/?id…
