FTR FOUGHT for the tag division when it was on life support earlier this year, and they put the work in on the ground level to help literally every team they could, knowing that if you share the wealth, if you get everyone going, it’ll pay off. They believed in The Outrunners and Jetspeed. (Dax put Kevin over in a singles match!) Billington and Priest. They did set up jobs to Bang Bang Gang. Didn’t point when they didn’t win the tag straps in London, Brodido were hot. What you’ve seen all year are two team players with passion for the medium of tag wrestling, that worked their asses off, and they finally got rewarded. A huge reason why the tag tournament happened was because of their advocacy of the division. They’re a huge asset to AEW and while they don’t have to be everyone’s cup of tea, or anybody’s favorites, if you act like they’re an issue for the promotion, you’re just being childish. No other word. Grow up. Any promoter would be happy to have them.
