In our latest paper we addressed an open issue in VBM: the difference between volume and concentration. We showed that in #autism spectrum disorder , volume is related with memory and social functions, while concentration to sensory and executive functions doi.org/10.1016/j.neubiorev.…

There’s nothing easy when it comes to psychiatric diseases 🧠 but hopefully, giving more attention to reverse inference, improving the integration with canonical forward inference approaches, will be of some help in the future. That’s our last paper in a bunch of words 😊

Applications of reverse inference to neuroimaging data has been a major topic of our Lab in the last 4 years. Here we build on this experience to summarize our thought on the possibility to use this approach to identify #biomarkers for #psychiatric disorders 🧠

Come and join us! Might be a bit biased seeing this from inside 😊 but couldn't recommend more. Fascinating research topic, loads of lab facilities right in the city center, and a great and supportive PI. Oh, and #Torino is a really nice place to live 😃
