Overjoyed at sharing CBMAT 🥳rdcu.be/dljof This started as a series of MATLAB functions I wrote for myself along the years, but then I really wanted to share with community hoping to help ppl dealing with coordinate-based meta-analysis Code:github.com/Jordi-Manuello/CB…

What a great way to kick-off this 2025!
January opens with a new paper published 🎉 We described MACPA, an innovative application of Bayesian reverse inference to refine meta-analytic connectivity modelling, and show its application on the functional profile of the amygdala 🧠 google.com/url?q=rdcu.be/d4K…

My first AIP sperimentale is over, and I really regret I missed so many previous editions! I enjoyed a lot, and loved to have time to discuss with friends and colleagues and learn from them 🧠

Thanks to the organizers and speakers of the best symposium I’ve ever attended on multi-lab and multiverse approaches. So much informative and pragmatic, that is what we need as a community to improve w/ @CrepaldiDavide @CalignanoGiulia @Scandle @fgambarota Livio Finos @ AIP

New paper out in Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews 🥳🧠
In our latest paper we addressed an open issue in VBM: the difference between volume and concentration. We showed that in #autism spectrum disorder , volume is related with memory and social functions, while concentration to sensory and executive functions doi.org/10.1016/j.neubiorev.…

Any recommendation for a free text editor for MacOS? Used to work on Smultron and SublimeText but it seems they are only available upon subscription now. Thanks!

There’s nothing easy when it comes to psychiatric diseases 🧠 but hopefully, giving more attention to reverse inference, improving the integration with canonical forward inference approaches, will be of some help in the future. That’s our last paper in a bunch of words 😊
Applications of reverse inference to neuroimaging data has been a major topic of our Lab in the last 4 years. Here we build on this experience to summarize our thought on the possibility to use this approach to identify #biomarkers for #psychiatric disorders 🧠
