We’re delighted to share that we’ve received renewed funding from @JPFoundation for our Talk About The Future workshop in 2026/27. Now entering its 7th year, the programme helps young people across London & Essex build interview & employability skills with confidence.
We are so proud of Ezra who was nominated by other Young Carers (YCs) in April for a @JPFoundation Award! Ezra was nominated for being nice and easy to talk to. One YC said Ezra 'is always really kind and encourages people to join in with activities'.

This will help inform UK policy recommendations shared with the Cabinet Office, parliamentarians, and civil servants. 🏛️

Congratulations to our @FirstGiveUK winners for 2026, 8R!
All the students put in a fantastic effort presenting their charity work in front of a panel of judges. As winners of the contest, 8R have raised £1,000 for West London Action for Children.
I recently judged the Newham final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out challenge. There were fourteen incredible speeches delivered by students from across the borough.
I wish our winner all the best for the grand final - do it for Newham!
