Been lucky to participate in two of these since being principal & it’s an absolute honor each time. This was no different. The pure joy is heartwarming. Thanks @JPPrezz for capturing the moment. #MeramecMade
.@MeramecHeights second grade student Connor thought he was getting recognized for his performance in class. Instead, he was surprised by his dad who had just returned home from a year-long deployment with the Army!

T-Minus 2 hours until I hit the road for the @MOSPRApros Fall Conference in Kansas City. I need some #SchoolPR podcast recommendations to keep me company on the drive.

I can't wait to see how you all level up your communications with tech!
#K12PRChat A5:
It’s important to leverage the tools you already have AND you/your team know how to use!
Finding a new use for an existing resource means:
✅ Fewer passwords to remember
✅ Smaller learning curves
✅ Quicker investment from staff (hopefully)
A4: Finding new tech tools because we are trying to meet a goal reflects a more strategic mindset than adopting something because it is cool. #k12prchat
#K12PRChat A4:
Tech allows us to reimagine our feedback loop. The loudest voice in the room (or the social app) doesn’t have to be the only one we hear.
Resources like Thought Exchange can redefine HOW we collect & analyze feedback; not just WHERE we collect feedback.
#K12PRChat A3:
One of my FAVORITE examples of substitution in #SchoolPR is digital postcards. We make sending kind words and well wishes much easier at foxc6.org/digitalpostcard.
