Please @WassymBensaid help. Driver assistance hasn’t worked in weeks anyway bc software bugs. Service already replaced the front camera when a prior software update broke it. The last 2 firmware updates have been full regression. Can we get a rollback so the features that used to work can work again? @Rivian

Rivian Support said to bring it in for a service appt, I don’t want to burn a day on what should be a simple OTA firmware patch . They acknowledged a known bug where privacy settings revert to off that could be associated. The error message should say what’s wrong, pls help @WassymBensaid

2018 Model 3 is in for a failed ac compressor ($1700 down the drain). Got a peasant spec standard model Y with FSD 14.3 as a loaner and this thing is kinda fantastic. Wifey said it’s a huge upgrade from our 3 even without the premium features. This level of FSD is what I paid $8k for.
@elonmusk Can we pls get FSD transfer back for HW3 owners, I’ll buy a new Y today.

R2 hit the mark and @Rivian has a potential ace up their sleeve. Backlog for R2 will exceed manufacturing capacity for at least the first year.
Re-launch dual standard R1S at $64,990???
How?
Coil suspension
No matrix headlights
Remove other non deal breakers like flash light or wireless phone charger
Maximize fixed cost absorption on R1 line by taking advantage of R2 demand. Great for the bottom line and great for consumers who are pulled in by R2 but also want 3 rows.

NEWS: Rivian is discontinuing the $72,990 R1T Dual-Standard and $76,990 R1S Dual Standard trims.
This effectively means that the starting prices of their R1 vehicle lineup will now be:
• R1T: $79,990 (Dual trim)
• R1S: $83,990 (Dual trim)

Merging the Elon umbrella of companies together under Tesla sure does accelerate this.
Indeed I did.
However, I also think that Tesla has the potential to be the most valuable company ever.
When Tesla’s market cap, making sustainable energy products, exceeds that of Aramco, producing fossil fuels, you know the future will be good for Earth.

Wifey discovered spicy mode today with RAP (her first drive using it from VT to CT around 170 miles).
- Orders of magnitude improvement over prior highway assist (kept engaged under overpasses and in sections it previously opted out).
- Orders of magnitude behind Tesla FSD (many disengagements along the drive vs near zero on Tesla).
- Second mover advantage entirely on the table tho.
Nice work Rivian, pumped to be along for the ride.
