This is a scam. It's a move to socialize the risk and inevitable massive losses of an unprofitable company, to shift the burden from billionaires onto the backs of ordinary people and eventually to tax payers. Same scam that Anthropic and OpenAI are running.

People say The Reality War was the death knell for the Doctor Who but honestly I still believe it was The Giggle. A few good moments cannot save the fact that it fundamentally broke the show after The End of Time arguably fractured it and its audience with “I don’t want to go.”

Expert level comics is a hilarous concept. But, devils advocate, I would say "expert" level could be the 90s stuff where story and character are totally subsumed by art making the comics actually difficult to read. Even then tho, just look at the pictures
