I am super pumped to announce that I will be joining the @RedSox as the AA Assistant Hitting Coach! I cannot thank everyone at @DrivelineBB enough—specifically @TStokey, @AndrewAydt, @TalkingHitting, and @XX_Garrett—for giving me the opportunity to work and be a part of the amazing culture here. As well as @drivelinekyle for all his guidance and support! It’s been an incredible experience being part of this cohesive, competitive, and family-like atmosphere, learning something new every day. I will be remaining with Driveline through December before starting my journey with the Red Sox. To my family, my fiancée, and my extended family: you have loved and supported me throughout this crazy journey. Now it’s time for me to come back to the East Coast! Let’s go Sox!

On my way to coach against the Nationals AAA Affiliate trying to enjoy watching the @softball_ochs girls play and all I had heard since pregame is @JordanHirsh_PxP be negative about these girls who have worked their tails off all year…. Clean it up man… @Fish4scores wasn’t exactly a saint either. @RyleeMichalak was great! Positive energy laughing and was very knowledgeable in what she was saying when it came to game play… and on the complete opposite end of @JordanHirsh_PxP bringing negativity to HS amateur girls combined with a lack of knowledge… Brutal Watch today. I hope those girls don’t go back to watch their last HS Softball game of their career and listen to all the negative things you said in front of their kids one day. Because that would crush them. @JordanHirsh_PxP

Here's a plot of organization-level 90th-percentile exit velo & contact rate in the minors. This combines Class A through Triple-A data. Margins are small, so don't freak out, but it's a decent way to categorize org hitting performance/process 2 months into the MiLB season.
